Air Surveys Limited is an established UKAS accredited testing laboratory no. 0553, for asbestos air sampling, asbestos fibre identification, asbestos bulk sampling and bulk sample identification in respect of asbestos. All operative personnel employed are certified as Competent Persons in asbestos by the British Occupational Hygiene Society, which is the highest qualification currently obtainable in the industry. All work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety Laboratory guidelines, including The Analysts' Guide (HSG248), MDHS 100, and the The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Day to day work includes surveying buildings for the presence of asbestos, taking samples where required and analysing them, producing reports and computer-based asbestos registers for clients, updated on a six-monthly or annual basis, dependent upon the type and condition of the asbestos, and conducting air tests during and following the removal of asbestos. We also offer bathing water quality testing in accordance with EU and UK regulations, and lead testing in accordance with MDHS 6/3.

We have been a UKAS-accredited testing laboratory since 1987. Our client base includes the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Greenwich, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond and Merton, together with Catalyst Housing Group, the Orbit Housing Association and Babcock SGI for the Ministry of Defence. Private Sector clients include Serco, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward and Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Air Surveys is registered with Constructionline, the UK Register of Pre-qualified Construction Services.  We have also been assessed as compliant with CHAS, the Contractors' Health & Safety Assessment Scheme, and are an Exor accredited supplier.
